This is a passable live action version of the popular cartoon from the 1970's, although Scooby the dog is CGI. The Velma character has a longish page-boy bob, who in this film is played by Linda Cardellini wearing a wig. She's actually quite a babe.

SAME TIME, NEXT YEAR	1978 USA	This is an enjoyable romantic comedy starring Alan Alda and Ellen Burstyn who meet at a country inn one weekend in 1951 and then decide to meet on only one weekend a year for the next 25 years. Over that period of time the hairstyles and fashions change quite a lot. At one point Ellen has a very nice brown bob hairstyle.
SAMPLE PEOPLE	1999 AUS	A little-known Australian film with a rather muddled plot, in which the gorgeous Kylie Minogue has a minor part playing Jess. At one point she is wearing a red bob wig, which makes her look even more attractive!

SCREAM	1996 USA	Drew Barrymore has a beautiful blonde medium bob style in this superior horror film by Wes Craven. Unfortunately she gets offed about 10 minutes into the film.
SCREAM 2	1997 USA	Two bobettes for the price of one in this pretty good sequel. Of course they are Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox who both have dark hair.
SHAMPOO	1975 USA	Julie Christie has her hair cut in this film to what could be called a 'super-extended bob' which I think is very sexy. (OK, I know it's a bit of a stretch, but I think she looked really nice!). Also, Lee Grant who plays Felicia also has a very nice 1960s bob hairstyle. I'm including pics of both ladies here.
SHOWGIRLS	1995 USA	This film is worth seeing not only for Rena Riffel's sexy blonde bob (she plays Penny), but also for the sequence where the dancers put on black bob wigs for a sexy stage routine. Having watched this film again recently I've decided that if I were to rate it out of 5 stars I would give it 3. It's not as bad as some critics make out, although I'd agree that it's overlong.
SIN CITY	2005 USA	Frank Miller's noir graphic novels come to life in this excellent live-action movie version, filmed in black and white, with minimal colourisation. Carla Gugino plays Lucille and her dark bob hairstyle is sooo sexy. She has a really fit body too! It's a pity that her character isn't in the film for very long. (Be warned that there is a lot of violence in this movie!)
SINGIN' IN THE RAIN	1952 USA	A cheesey choice of film you might think, but just take a look at the classic 'Broadway Melody' sequence which occurs about 70 minutes into it. Wow! It's Cyd Charisse with a great 'Brooksie bob' and those legs. Devastating!
SINGLE WHITE FEMALE	1992 USA	Bridget Fonda has what may be called a chic yuppy bob hairstyle in this film which I think is quite sexy. Her unhinged flatmate played by Jennifer Jason Leigh copies this style during the course of the movie.
